In only it’s second year, Monsters of Rock Cruise has managed to create a huge world-wide buzz as one of the most impressive rock festivals in existence. Die-hards from all over the world reunited on the MSC Poesia to relive rock and roll fantasies and create lasting memories. This year’s lineup boasted 40 plus rock and metal bands of all kinds; from Japanese metal band Loudness to American soft rockers Nelson. The voyage rocked the high seas from Ft. Lauderdale to Coco Cay to Nassau for 4 days of almost non stop overlapping concerts on 4 stages. Thankfully, most of the bands played twice or in jam sessions, acoustic sets or as special guests.
The schedule was packed, it was impossible to participate in all the activities which included celebrity meet & greets, rock & roll Q & A’s, tattoo contest, rock star dating game, a rock n’ roll 1987 prom and band Great White performing on the beach in the Bahamas!
